With the use of the
Electronic Display board with
buttons to change prices
via the
side
of
the
display
came
another
issue
with
USB
to
Serial
(RS232)
convertors.
After much
research,
it
has
been
found that
the BAFO brand of USB
convertor is
the only convertor to
date to work
correctly with these
boards. The
issue that
was occuring was that
pricing
were
able
to be
send
to
the
board,
however
communication
from the
board to the
computer was being
distorted and
therefore unreadable
by EasyBook
2000. As
such, any
users with
Electronic
button boards who need
to purchase
a USB to Serial
(RS232) convertor
must only
purchase the
BAFO brand.
